She knew the $100 I had with me was for baby stuff only (and 2 cookbooks! LOL) She saw the bed and said, "This is the kind of bed I have always wanted!" The lady told her it was only $7 and the kid whipped out the cash in a flash. Then she realized she couldn't get it home in my car and told them she couldn't get it- before I could tell her that I'd find a way to get it home, the guy offered to deliver it if we can wait until Sunday or Monday. She handed over the money and left me to exchange phone numbers. She is super excited. And I am excited for her. I always wanted a daybed, too. I think that when she isn't home, I will nap in it and pretend I am 12 years old, again. You would be amazed at how much she has grown up in the last year or so- and yet, there are times she is still my little girl.
